Several years ago I was comissioned by the Prime Minister and Downing Street to make gifts for the wives of the Heads of State attending the G8 Summit in London. I produced a range of evening scarves based on Oak Leaves in silk and satin. This doll is a continuation of that work and a life long love of Oak trees.

Full description
Handmade heirloom doll inspired by Autumn and acorns. She is wearing a reversible Cape made of tweed and pretty print with a hand stitched lace trim and little leather oak leaf details. She has a co ordinating headband. Her body and arms are made from beautiful Liberty of London tana lawn Emilias flowers and she has a detachable skirt trimed with the same fabric. Her arms are attached by buttons which enable a small amount of movement. She has stripy tights and tweed boots with a suede fringe to complete her Autumn outfit. Due to the delicate nature of this doll and the small parts she is constructed from she is only suitable for children aged 3 and over and is designed for decorative purposes. Spot clean only.
