Home on the Hill
A long time ago, whilst walking in a meadow, a couple came across a derelict cottage. They were the kind of people who could see beyond the rotten timbers and broken panes of glass, they saw somewhere beautiful to live (you’ll probably know the sort).
Before summer turned to autumn, they were all moved in. They repaired, replaced and renovated. The cottage began to feel fit to live in.
One day one of the owners stepped outside and before they could take a breath of morning air, they tripped out of the doorway and tumbled downwards. From the ground they looked up and saw that the cottage no longer sat in a flat meadow. It was now perched on what could only be described as a large mound. Dismayed, the ground and house was checked out… an explanation couldn’t be found but all was well.
