Full description
This mug is thrown on the wheel, brushed with a dark slip & then decorated using a sgrafitio technique, which is basically scratching away the dark slip layer to reveal the lighter stoneware clay body underneath. There is usually an anchor or fish or waves on the back of the mug, depending on how i feel- if you have a preference please let me know.
This is a generous sized mug, perfect for your first tea or coffee of the day.
All of my work is handmade by me, so no two are ever quite the same, very similar but there will always be slight variations.
Approx. 11 X 11 cm
I always recommend hand washing if you are precious but if like me you feel life is too short for that put them in the dishwasher. Microwave safe.
