Full description
This scarf in blends of blue and lilac has been made using merino wool blended with bleached tussah silk fibres which have been nuno felted to both sides of a blue silk chiffon fabric. The fibres have been felted in extremely fine layers resulting in a super soft and lightweight scarf which drapes beautifully. The nuno felting technique results in the fibres migrating through the silk and binding with it.
The scarf is a dress length scarf designed to be draped around the neck. It measures approximately 130cm x 42cm (51"x 16.5"). Made from all natural fibres (wool and silk) allows it to provide warmth in the winter while remaining cool in summer.
A lovely gift for any occasion. This listing includes the gift box shown in the final photograph.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring. roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape while wet and press with a cool (wool/silk setting) iron.
