The beauty of these coins have always intrigued me. Not only are these coins symbolic of historical events they are memories to older generations and icons for younger generations.

I was inspired by the sheer elegance of the designs of these pre-decimal coins and after ongoing experimentation I came up with my own technique of painting the coin to create a beautiful product.

There is something very therapeutic about creating something desirable out of something that would otherwise be disregarded.
