Full description
This is an original piece of my hand drawn art, sewn with free stitch on my sewing machine.
Reworked in Photoshop, printed onto cotton lawn fabric, appliqued and free hand stitched to bring out detail.
The inspiration comes from my final year of my degree in 2008, where I studied tea cups for my Mad Hatter's Party project. Ever since tea cups, tea pots and table settings have become a main focus of my work.
I work in continuous line and I feel each of my pieces have a slight naivety to them and many contain many perspectives from one angle.
I personally believe making art obtainable to all, so I will never charge to much for my work, neither because of time-cost issues, will create a piece that takes me too long to make.
I like to create work that is inspired by everyday life and is mostly unprepared, just myself a pen and a piece of paper. No pencil, a mistake is happy mistake!
This piece can come with or without a frame, I will price it without a frame, but it can come with a frame as pictured for and extra £5.00.
