A beautiful seaside village in North Yorkshire, Staithes was once one of the largest fishing ports on the north east coast. This image was taken during sunset that was just setting behind the camera, therefore lighting up the clouds in the background. They was a higher than normal tide that night, due to the ‘Spring Tide”. The high cliffs, which surround the village are great destination for geologists looking for dinosaur fossils, the coast is also known as the ‘Dinosaur Coast’.
