Dearest customers. After some time away, I am back making crochet clothing with sustainable fibres again. A place with a hook and a still mind. I hope you like what I produce!

Full description
Handcrafted pure Scottish wool scarf 2 metres long, with an organic handspun peace silk fringe. Undyed eri and tassar silk. Luxury crocheted products from CrochetMushroom. Main body of the scarf has been crocheted up with double Harris aran pure Scottish wool. Wild and rugged like the landscape it came from.
Crochet Mushroom's studio is based in a little hamlet near the banks of the River Tay in North East Fife, Scotland. I am an independent textile artist. My work is produced using Harris wool custom spun on the Isle of Harris, and a range of very unusual organic peace silks handspun by women's co-operatives in India. These silk yarns are from my own range of inspirational ethical art yarns
My aim is to work with traditional crochet techniques to produce unique and imaginative designs innovating and creating links between fashion and art, focusing on silhouette and contrast. I also loves a bit of exaggerated knitwear.
Designs are exclusive, contemporary and handmade in Scotland. Inspired by fusing cultures, northern Scottish landscapes and coastlines, and the love of a unique and rare yarn. I now sell all over the world from Orkney in Northern Scotland to Israel, Japan and the United States.
