This locally collected driftwood block has been cut down, carefully painted and sanded down to produce a beautiful beach-effect backdrop for my shell illustrations. Based on my original lino-prints of locally-found shells, each block is a completely original little piece of very affordable beach art.

Due to the unique nature of driftwood, blocks vary in size from 7 x 10cm to 10 x 12cm. I wanted to keep the look simple and natural-looking, so blocks come with a narrow drilled hole for hanging. This is suitable for a normal picture nail.
