I was decorating my new shop and had a lot of hessian lying around, I love to work with furs but was just a little bit curious as to how easy it would be to sew a hessian bear. Even cutting the pieces was a challenge and I knew straight away that turning it the right way was going to be a huge NO so I decided to make the stitching even more of a feature and do it in black. I love how he turned out and hope you do too.

Old Ted is incredibly delicate, he will last years and years if taken proper care of but heavy playing will break his stitching, please bare this in mind when purchasing.

Full description
Old Ted is a true artist bear, he is made of hessian offcuts, bits of scrap calico and some discarded buttons. He was a labour of love to create and I hope that he can find a home that will love him completely.
Old Ted has been sewn inside out with very strong thread to keep all his stuffing in. He has been painted to look aged and has a gorgeous tatty appearance. He will only mature with age and get better and better.
He even has a tatty looking wooly bow to keep him warm. He is thread jointed and has an embroidered nose. There is not another bear like Old Ted in the world so if you like your bears original then Old Ted is the bear for you.
