Purple is one of my favourite colours and I wanted to create a girly blanket in Aran yarn using a mixture of purple and pink shades.
Purple and various shades of pink work really blend well together and are very effective with crochet stitches.

The purple and pink striped blanket measures 60 cm by 80 cm and is completed with a darker purple edging.

The blanket is suitable for a newborn baby girl and can also be used as a lapghan blanket for snuggles on the sofa in the evenings or wrapped around the shoulders to keep warm in the chilly evenings
