An Irish large 5 pence coin (as opposed to the smaller, later version) individually pierced out to display your chosen initial, such as the letter R shown here. I made this to order for a 40th birthday present, so the coin features the 1976 date.
This coin matched the size of the British equivalent 5 pence (24mm diameter) and also the Shilling it replaced. Dates available are 1971 to 1990, as after this date a new, smaller 5 pence coin was introduced. This coin is minted from Cupronickel - as Nickel can cause skin irritation in some people, I have fully lacquered the item, therefore preventing this problem.
If you would like a particular date and letter, please message me and I will make one, place it on my Folksy page and let you know. You can then decide if you would like to buy, after having seen the actual item.
Please note that the chain is not included in the price shown, but is available as a separate item - please see my other listings. If a pendant and chain are purchased together, only one delivery charge would apply - let me know and i will place a pendant & chain combined item on my page for you.
Your purchase will be packaged in a slim black card box and posted by Royal Mail 1st Class "signed for" large letter post.
