A silver sixpence individually pierced out to display your chosen initial, such as the letter J shown here. I made this to order for a 60th birthday present, so the coin is a 1946 King George VI sixpence, therefore with a silver content of 50%.
The silver content and design of each pendant will vary depending on the date chosen, as the original design on the coins changed over the years - some have the date around the edge and some (like this one) have it across the coin. Coins minted after 1946 have no silver content and those prior to 1920 were sterling silver (92.5%). Between these two dates, 50% silver was used.
If you would like a particular date and letter, please message me and I will make one, place it on my Folksy page and let you know. You can then decide if you would like to buy, after having seen the actual item.
Please note that the chain is not included in the price shown, but is available as a separate item - please see my other listings. If a pendant and chain are purchased together, only one delivery charge would apply - let me know and i will place a pendant & chain combined item on my page for you.
Your purchase will be packaged in a slim black card box and posted by Royal Mail 1st Class "signed for" large letter post.
