Handmade Tunisian crochet bag
The stripes may look random, but they represent the letters from Emily Bronte's name and where they appear on the first page in Wuthering Heights.
I live in the village the Bronte sisters were born in, which inspired me to make this bag, and the colours remind me of the moors near by.
The bag was made using a 2 mm Tunisian hook, which creates a dense and hard wearing fabric. (but takes an age to make)
The bag is finished with wooden beads along the side seams, and is lined with recycled fabric.
Bag measures 10 1/2 " tall, 11" at widest part and handles are 18" long
A local lass called Emily Bronte, and the wild moors that surround me.
