To be honest, I had something else in mind when I started this project. I was experimenting with some abstract ideas and I was not aiming to create a Star of David, but as the project evolved, this is what it became. I think it worked out well!

Full description
This SMALL sized Star Of David Stained Glass 3D Suncatcher is made from 6 pieces of glass, (3 of a light blue and 3 of a slightly darker blue) using the copper-foil method. When viewed from front on it is clearly a Star of David but as it moves gently in the wind, the shape changes to the viewer and it becomes more abstract.
It is my SMALL size, measuring approximately 7.5 cms (3 inches) from point to point.
The solder has been left in it's natural silver colour, but has been polished with metal polish, giving it a lovely shine. It comes with a silver coloured hanging chain fitted which is also approximately 7.5 cms (3 inches) long.
It has been reinforced with a strip of wire incorporated into the outside bead of solder, making the star very strong. This wire also forms the hanging loop at the top of the star.
