One day I was sitting outside looking at the wool roving I had recently dyed while they were drying in the sun and thinking about what they should become. It occurred to me that the colours looked a bit too "vanilla". To liven them up I thought that they needed a gentle touch of black. And Licorice Allsorts yarns were born.

Full description
This designer art yarn has been hand spun with pure hand dyed merino wool. The yarn has been spun using a thick and thin spinning technique and plied with a fine hand dyed wool resulting in a yarn that is soft, wavey, lumpy, and bumpy.
The yarn has been hand dyed in mixed colours of Blueberry, Plum, Vanilla, Mint, Lemon and Black Licorice.
Skein size: 200 grams
approx. 100 meters
This yarn would be lovely knit or crochet into a scarf or perhaps a hat, or in hand weaving. As this is spun with pure merino wool, it can also be used as knit and felt.
Please hand wash gently in cool water.
This is a one-of-a-kind handspun yarn. When it's gone, it's gone. If you would like to order a larger quantity or in different shades of colour, please contact me regarding a custom order.
