Full description
This pot plant is not only a pretty way to present a gift, but is a gift in itself! It could be filled with anything from small wrapped chocolates or other sweets, to seeds, needlework accessories, jewellery, socks or even a pretty pair of knickers! Afterwards it makes a useful and lovely storage container for many years to come.
The pot is crocheted around a real plastic plant pot in terracotta yarn. the internal measurements after covering are approximately 8 cm in height by 8.5 cm diameter at the top. The lid is made from a circle of strong card covered with crocheted soil and under the lid and a circle of brown felt hand-stitched over the crocheted on the underside. The flowers and leaves have been crocheted and embroidered in cotton and the inside of the pot is lined with calico. The label tied around the pot reads ‘For You’ but I’m very happy to exchange this for a tag with a greeting of your own.
