This piece was inspired by my favourite solitary oak tree at the height of summer. The use of a warm green representing the sun reflecting the warm green hues of the canopy. The tree itself alive with wildlife; butterflies, bugs, beetles and the buzzard often landing in the top of this tree, and tracks from a badger and fox can be seen when the field is harvested.
