I started working with Gemstones back in 2013 and was drawn to Amethyst and Rose Quartz as they where the only ones I recognised. Since then I've learnt more and more about Gemstones and have no intention of stopping any time soon.
This was a simple but elegant design and the stones look lovely when the light captures them.

Full description
These earrings are made from Lavender Amethyst Plain Round Beads, metal beads, silver plated findings (jewellery components) and bead caps.
The stones come from the Genuine Gemstone Company which are 100% genuine gemstones so there will be some differences in the colour saturation and size/shape of the stones.
The stones I used in this design are Amethyst which are approximately 10 mm.
The length of the earrings are approximately 3.8 mm long (1 and 1/4 in).
Colours of the earrings: Purple, Lavender and Silver.
-About Amethyst-
One of the most popular, mystical and recognisable of all gemstones, Amethyst is the birthstone for the month of February.
Part of the Quartz family, Amethyst due to its hardness has been fashioned into many different cut and works well with other gemstones such as Quartz and Pearl.
The word Amethyst comes from the Greek word "Amethustos", "A" meaning "not" and "Methustos" meaning "to intoxicate".
In ancient times it was said that wealthy lords who wanted to stay sober would have cups and glasses made from Amethyst and would serve themselves water as the colour of the stone made it appear as if they where drinking wine along with everyone else.
-Postage and Packaging-
These earrings come in a gift box, complete with white non tarnishing cotton fill.
