Full description
These glass bowls were fused by me in my studio. The glass was hand painted and marbled and then heated up to around 800 degrees Celsius to melting point in a small glass fusing kiln and it was then brought to annealing temperature to make it strong. It was then slumped into shape. This whole process takes over 18 hours to complete.
This set of sushi plate and dipping bowl are hand painted in dark pink/red, black and cream and have a glossy smooth surface. The sushi plate is approximately 14cm by 9cm and the dipping bowl 7.5cm square. They have been fully annealed to make it strong. This set would make a great gift or treat.
Not suitable for children to play with - this is made from real glass and needs to be treated with respect - it may have sharp edges if broken.
