The Queen & her guards are a well known spectacle for England and with 2016 being her 90th birthday I decided to make an OOAK doll to mark the occasion, and Barnaby is the result.

Standing to attention in his bearskin hat and smart uniform, Barnaby is awaiting his orders.
Barnaby is all handmade. He has been cut from white cotton and has been firmly stuffed with hollow fibre filling. His moustache is cut from black felt and the bearskin hat is made from black faux fur.
His chin strap is black elastic and his smart jacket is made from a black and red nylon fabric, trimmed with gold ric rac embellishments. He has a pearl coloured plastic buckle, with trousers that are made from thick black nylon waffle material.
Peaking out from under the bottom of his trousers are shiny black boots ( from all the spit and polish) made from a PVC material.
