Full description
applique and freehand embroidered zombie lemur fabric passport cover.

these bikini-clad zombie lemurs can’t wait to go on their holidays!
the lemurs are cut from corpse blue irish linen and cotton fabrics - they're super "beach ready" in their pretty liberty print floral bikinis.
the fabrics are layered and appliqued onto cotton calico, and the intricate details drawn on freehand, with the free motion embroidery technique. their remaining eyeballs are hand embroidered.
this cover is made entirely on a domestic sewing machine.
everything is cut, stitched and handmade, with care, by me, ensuring each passport cover is unique, well made and securely constructed.
measuring 14cm x 10cm, to fit an EU / UK passport, this cover is made from heavy weight calico which has been pre-washed several times so it’s soft and should not shrink when washed.
the seams are overlocked and topstitched and the cover is stiffened with vilene.
