Little lamb, gamble free! Mother will call you home for tea.
Inspired by a photo taken by Peter Skillen, this miniature was painted using an "elegant writer" pen onto good quality 300gsm watercolour paper. When water is added to this pen it creates the most beautiful blues and purples. The process is hugely unpredictable meaning that every painting is completely unique.
It measures a tiny 2.5 x 3.5 inches. This size is called an ACEO (Art Cards Editions and Originals) and is highly collectible. ACEOs can be displayed in photo albums, on mini easels or in photo frames.
Presented in clear cellophane wrap with a certificate of authenticity and a very cute handmade mini envelope, all of my miniature art is a delight to both collect and to gift!
As with all water-based art, to keep it at its best it is important to display this painting out of direct sunlight and away from damp/humid conditions. This is particularly important as "Elegant writer" ink does fade when exposed to direct sunlight.
Please note the mini easel and any other props are for illustration purposes only and are NOT included in the sale.
