I saw this for sale a couple of winters ago and knew it was just the sort of thing that would be loved by my young kids, but was deeply disappointed at the prices for flimsy item made with thin felt and glued together so went hunting for something that I could make myself that had more character and would last longer than 1 Christmas. I wanted to make something to start a new special Christmas tradition, and even the increasingly cynical eldest still loves it!

Santa is getting ready for the big day and has pegged out his laundry...
Each item has been handknitted and strung onto a 1.5m length cord to make bunting. Item uses sparkle yarn to give them that Santa magic.
The laundry line includes his jacket and trousers, his hat, a warm pair of socks and mittens to keep out the cold, and of course his underpants, which will make any young child chuckle!
Trouser length is 10cm (longest point of the laundry line).
This is a reuseable, hardwearing item that will last for many years. It can be used for outdoor use and washed afterwards, but be aware this will reduce its longevity.
