Full description
I was recently asked what flowers I made and if I made fuchsias? At the time I hadn't made a fuchsia but I have now and I'm really quite pleased with the end result.
This one has been made from vibrant red granite backed glass and white streaky glass and the leaves from green textured glass.
Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, foiled, tinned with solder and then soldered together. the stamens have been made from tinned wire.
The flowers and leaves have been attached to a piece of tinned copper wire and all joined with solder to form the arching branches the fuchsia plant produces. A ring has been attached for hanging purposes and I will supply one good quality window hook so it can go in your window as soon as received.
This suncatcher measures 18cms wide x 20cms high when hanging.
These flowers can be made in any colour combination so if you like it but would prefer it to be in something different just drop me an email and I'd be more than happy to make what you'd like.
