I started working with antique silverware so as not to use up the world’s precious resources. Salvaged silver is rare and I have become expert in spotting it. Nothing is wasted and even the silver dust is made molten to be turned into something beautiful and new.
Sourcing, restoring and re-purposing antique silverware into unique delicate jewellery is a passion of mine. There is a sense of history with each piece I make. As I am forming and polishing, I am capturing a memory or an essence of the past. You can’t help but wonder who used to stir their cup of tea with each teaspoon or how many times each piece of silverware was polished and proudly put on display.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

"Originally a teaspoon made in 1920 by Joseph Rodgers, Sheffield, I was recently discovered by Milomade and lovingly re-crafted into this ring for someone special."
This ring is is one of a limited edition of 6 rings lovingly handcrafted from sterling silver vintage antique silver spoons. They are available with an antique patina applied that accents the design.
Please specify your ring size when ordering! I can make this ring to UK sizes L to W, but bear in mind that the rings are not 'closed' so can be adjusted slightly by yourself or any high street jeweller.
Rings are made and sized to order and despatched within four working days of receiving your payment.

Each ring retains the original hallmark and comes with a small provenance tag that outlines the original maker as well as the city and year the teaspoon was assayed. Rings come packaged in round kraft ring boxes embellished on the inside with a maps from either Sheffield, London, Birmingham or Edinburgh - depending on the location the original teaspoon was assayed.
