Full description

ANTONIUS THE ROMAN SOLDIER DOLL KNITTING PATTERNS

Antonius is a brave Roman soldier, ready for battles and adventure with his sword and shield.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a knitting pattern and instructions so you can make your own doll; you are not buying the finished toy.

THE PATTERN INCLUDES: Row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making Antonius, 22 photos, a list of abbreviations and explanation of some techniques, a materials list and recommended yarns. The pattern is 8 pages and written in English.

TECHNIQUES: All pieces are knitted flat on straight knitting needles. You will need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, and sew seams. For colour-work, you will need to knit stripes, and the tunic incorporates Fair-Isle knitting. This pattern uses a three needle join, and instructions with photos are also included in the pattern.

YARN, NEEDLES AND NOTIONS INCLUDE:

- Three straight 3.5mm knitting needles (US 4)

- DK yarn (double knitting or light worsted weight); less than 50g in each colour

- Toy filling

FINISHED SIZE: 18.5cm tall

DELIVERY: Your pattern will be emailed as a pdf file within 24 hours of cleared payment and will be sent to the email address registered with Folksy (unless you specify otherwise). Please note that printed copies are not provided, and this listing is for the pattern only, not the finished toy.
