I have recently been enjoying using Art as a way of engaging children in Mathematics. This experience along with my love of nature and pattern inspired me to produce a series of Fractal Trees. I think it shows just how beautiful maths can be.

I have been loving the combination of maths/ art /nature and getting these into some of my drawings.
This is a fractal tree using the repetition of a simple branch split into 3 and this pattern being repeated on every branch, forming a fractal. This has been painstakingly drawn by hand using a protractor to ensure all angles are accurate.
This is a limited edition print from a set of 50 and from an original hand drawing in ink.
