Full description
The Silver Branch Necklace is crafted in sterling silver from actual twigs, transformed into solid silver using an ancient technique called Lost Wax Casting.
The natural twigs are collected and a plaster mould is created around them. This mould is heated in a kiln until the twigs are burnt away, leaving a negative space within the mould. Using special tools molten metal is poured inside this mould, creating solid silver replicas which can be shaped, formed and polished to create this beautiful necklace.
This statement piece is fixed in the centre of a sterling silver chain and hangs beautifully around the neck.
A unusual gift for a nature lover, family member or a treat for yourself for a special occasion this striking piece will be a great talking point and a lovely addition to any jewellery collection.
