Because lost yarn = tears! All orders will be sent via Her Majesty's Mail, signed for service.

I was looking through a vintage children’s book (circa 1940) and although the illustrations were amazing I absolutely loved the soft, yet rich colour pallet.

Full description

'The Granny Square Blanket That's Actually Square; Not Wonky in the Middle.'

This wonderfully soft and comforting crochet blanket is made by hand, using premium quality Acrylic yarn.

It measures around 42" x 42" (or about 107cm x 107cm) making it the perfect size for one.

It's fully machine washable, which is handy when you or want to take it outside to sit on during the warmer months or you turn the page of your book and spill your tea over it!

Because of the time it takes to make them, I grow quite attached to my blankets and like to give them all names based on their emerging ‘personalities’ (I know); this one is called ‘Vera’.

Please note: I have tried to reflect the true colours of this blanket (think vintage village fêtes, circus and fairground ride signs) but like people, all monitors are different.

After her photo shoot and to make sure she was suitably ‘blocked’ (fixed into shape) Vera was bathed thoroughly in a non-biological wool wash.
