Item details

This apron was a cast off from a well known restaurant chain. I have given it a new lease on life. The erstwhile pockets have become a bib. New pockets have been added using striped ticking. And pink hearts have been appliquéd on for a touch of whimsical contrast with the tough denim.

My son works in the hospitality industry. Before he rose to management positions, his work uniform included an apron. These are usually well made and sturdy. But they are replaced fairly often - usually long before they are ready for retirement. I have given a makeover to two denim aprons acquired in this way, both of which can be found in my store.
