This would look equally good as a miniature picture in a Dolls House, a statement pendant (chains available in my shop), or as an addition to a charm bracelet.

I wanted to make a miniature seaside scene inside these 3cm bottle caps. This is a totally unique piece due to the nature of the very fine powders used.

The seaside scene has been made with embossing crystals of various grades and tiny faux rocks and pebbles. I have finished the piece off with two layers of clear resin which gives a 3D look. The back has been covered with turquoise felt.

This tiny piece of art, inspired by the beautiful Cornish coastline, is made from varying grades of embossing enamel. The grades are similar in size and texture to icing sugar, caster sugar and granulated sugar. I carefully manipulate the powders into a seascape or seaside scene with a needle, a cocktail stick and a very fine paintbrush.

When I'm happy with the placement of the powders and other inclusions, I carefully place the bottle cap in the Meltpot. This is when things can change as the powders melt and combine. The results are unpredictable, no two will ever turn out the same. The final finishing touch is two layers of crystal clear resin which gives the artwork a 3D quality. The end result is a totally unique work of art.
