A beautiful piece of natural amber is embedded in fine silver and surrounded by flowers, leaves, vines and two small sparkly cubic zirconia accent stones in orange and lemon. Made using silver clay which has been hand decorated and kiln fired to create this pretty fine silver one of a kind pendant. To bring out the detail of the design and create a vintage look I have oxidised and polished it, I have also cut away the area behind the stone to allow more light to pass through it.

I made this pendant after attending a workshop with Nicola Beer, it was such a fabulous day that I couldn't wait to use the last of my silver clay to create a new piece. The placement of the Amber and the setting of the small cubic zirconia crystals is definitely inspired by what I learned in the workshop. I have had the Amber cabochon used in this pendant in my collection for over 10 years and now that I have learned to set stones into fine silver finally found the perfect home for it. The design on this one is also inspired by the design on some of my Faerie doors
