This scarf is made from 100% merino wool in shades of orange, yellow and green. It has been felted using a very fine layer of woollen fibres to create "cobweb" felt, a light and airy almost transparent material. The fineness of the layers causes small "holes" to appear. This is part of the design of the scarf and in no way affects its integrity.
The resultant scarf weighs only 35g and measures approximately 176cm x 33cm (69" x 13"). It is light and floaty, super soft and drapes beautifully. Suitable for summer or winter wear it is long enough to be wrapped around the neck for extra warmth if required.
The scarf is supplied wrapped in floral tissue paper with a gift box upgrade available in my shop making it an ideal gift idea.
Hand wash gently in warm water, do not wring, reshape while wetland remove excess water with a towel. Press with a cloth or use a low temperature (wool/silk) setting iron.
