Full description

This is a replica of a full young female Neanderthal skull. The original specimen existed around 80, 000 years ago, as part of the Homo Neanderthalis species, which is generally believed to be separate from Homo Sapiens. Neanderthals were shorter and bulkier, with a prominent brow ridge. They used advanced stone tools and likely had a rudimentary language.

This is an accurate replica with plenty of detail, crafted carefully by the artist. It is made from Easy Flo 120 resin. The skull is 'filled' in the same way that museums fill pieces to preserve and display them.
