The Moon gazing hare is an ancient Pagan symbol representing fertility, abundance, growth, rebirth, new beginnings and good fortune. I sculpted this little hare as a brooch originally (and they are available as a brooch in another listing), but the cold cast pewter Hare works very well on these tins as well!

This Pagan inspired Hare & Moon treat tin is made from robust tinplate and has my sculpted Hare relief in cold-cast pewter on the push-on lid. The tin measures approximately 9.5 cm across and is 6 cm deep.
I am a sculptor, and I designed and sculpted this relief. I also cast, polish and finish each one here in my workshop in Cumbria...he even has my name on his bottom!
The tin could be used for all sorts...snacks or biscuits for you at work...storage for your favourite earrings and jewellery when on holiday...coins for parking...dog biscuits in your bag or car... packaging for another present? What will you put in yours?
