This is such a nice stone that I wanted to give it a suitable setting and as it came from the Kingman turquoise mine in Arizona a Native American style was the obvious choice. I have been reading about the early Native American silversmiths in a book (The Navajo and Pueblo Silversmiths by John Adair) written in the late thirties and early forties and I really have been humbled and inspired by the beautiful work they managed to do by natural or lamplight and with just a few simple tools.

Full description
This is a natural Kingman Spiderweb turquoise set in sterling and fine silver. It can be worn by either men or women. Made in the Western style with stamped details and applied 'raindrops' it has a prairie flower and horse shoe shape below the stone. The 2 feathers suspended beneath the setting move freely but because I found a solution to the problem they dont overlap entirely so always hang nicely and look great whichever one is on top.
The back of the setting has been lightly embossed with a Native American rug pattern. Thr pendant measures 33mm wide by 77mm long and hangs from a Belcher chain with handmade hook and ring closure. The chain measures 18" and has a 2" extender. I have oxidised this necklace to enhance the beautiful colour and Spiderweb pattern in the stone and all of the textures and details of the silver .
There is a pair of feather earrings available in my shop which will go well with this necklace for an extra special gift set.
This necklace is special and will come suitably boxed and ready for giving as a gift with a Hallmark information card and a silver polishing cloth.
This necklace has been Assayed and Hallmarked by the London Assay office.
