A piece taken from a beautifully embroidered vintage linen tablecloth, showing foxgloves, honeysuckle and butterflies, has been transformed into one of the prettiest cushions you'll ever see. Now you know what 'Summer' would look like if it were a cushion.
The completed 'one of a kind' cushion is c30cms square and has a simple envelope back made from two non-vintage fabrics - a pretty Tilda fabric with a green trellis background with gorgeous pink pink peonies and a coordinating green polka dots fabric. The cushion has been framed with gorgeous co-ordinating cafe au lait pompom trim and comes complete with a duck feather cushion pad. As expected when working with vintage fabrics, there may be some slight imperfections or some small signs of age, which generally only adds to the charm of the finished piece and often gives you a tiny glimpse into history. All our fabrics have been laundered and pressed and will arrive smelling wonderful.
