Full description
I've handmade this notebook cover using a lovely cotton/linen mix fabric. It's been lightly padded with fusible fleece and lined in lemon cotton.
On the front of the cover I've hand embroidered (using my own design) a butterfly and flowers using quality DMC and Anchor embroidery threads. Two small beads have been used on the butterfly's antenna. The words 'thoughts and ramblings' have been hand stamped onto pieces of linen and then appliqued onto the cover.
I'm also including a hard back A5 lined notebook which measures 21 cm by 15 cm and is 1.5 cm deep - although as the cover is obviously removable you can use it on a book of your own choosing.
I would advise spot cleaning only but if you really need to then a very gentle hand wash in warm water (no rubbing) should be fine.
A great way to cover your own notebook/journal/sketchbook it would also make a lovely gift.
