Full description
This scarf has been nuno felted on both sides to give a soft lightweight scarf. Fine layers of a blend of various green shades of merino wool have been laid over both sides of a green silk chiffon scarf and a decoration of trees and sheep have been added prior to felting.
Nuno felting is a process whereby woollen fibres are made to migrate through the underlying silk fabric and bind with it to produce a new material. The resulting scarf is super soft and lightweight.
This dress length scarf measures approximately 120cm x 42cm (47" x 16.5") and would make a stunning addition to any outfit. It is a dress length scarf designed to wear draped around the neck, it is will not wrap around the neck twice. The use of natural fibres makes this scarf warm in winter yet cool in summer.

Hand wash in warm water, do not wring. roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape while wet and press with a cool (wool/silk setting) iron.
