I made one of these for my animal loving daughter...sheep being one of her favourite animals. She is now training to be a veterinary nurse so her love of animals can extend to the care of them.

With Spring now approaching I felt it would be appropriate to include this to represent Spring. The time of year when newborn baby lambs can be seen as Easter approaches.

Each piece of glass is cut by hand and glasd elements are added prior to fusing such as details to face etc.

Each piece undergoes a 12 hour kilning process fusing to a top temperature of 784 ° c. Measuring approximately 10 cm wide x 11 cm high this item will stand freely and is weighted by a fused glass shelf measuring 10 cm x 4cm behind the sheep.

Each item is bespoke and individual so no two will be exactly the same. All of the pictures show this made in clear glass but I am able to add colour or produce in different colours if required.

This item is very textural and makes for an individual ornamental piece for any room, conservatory, office or garden. It also makes a great tealight holder as a small tealight can be placed on the glass shelf behind the sheep reflecting light beautifully.

So now it's not only Mary who can have a little lamb! A perfect gift for Spring or Easter.
