Full description
Simple and elegant, this elegant sterling silver pendant has been created in my home studio.
Inspired by the sea, I have made a stylised yacht from Sterling silver, its sail has an embossed leaf design, adorned with gold wire. I have also added a little nugget of gold. I have set a small amazonite cabochon to represent the sea.
Thick sheet sterling silver has been embossed with a leaf pattern by running it through a rolling mill with a genuine skeleton leaf. This pattern is a design permanent and is a unique pattern, pressed into the silver.
Cut, filed and polished by hand, before adorning the pendant with 9k yellow gold wire and a 9k yellow gold nugget. The wire has been run through the rolling mill to give it a flat profile. The setting of the stone has four claws. The amazonite measures 9x7mm approx and is the most gorgeous colour.
The bail has been soldered onto the reverse of the pendant and a fine 18 inch or 45cm curb chain has been threaded through. The pendant measures 20x9mm approx.
Hall Marked at the London Assay Office, the pendant also bears my unique makers mark.
This is a unique, one of a kind pendant and would be perfect as a special gift for sailing enthusiasts.
The necklace will come beautifully gift boxed, ready to be presented as a gift.
