Item details
This was a discarded apron from a well known restaurant chain. Good quality denim and well made. So I took pity on it. I removed the existing pockets and turned it into a bib front. Then I added new pockets where the old ones had been, cutting up a pair of burgundy denim jeans that I picked up in a charity shop. I trimmed the edges of the pockets in the same cream cotton tape that I used for the bib straps. I reckon te finished result looks pretty good. The original apron came with a metal look from which a person could hang a small towel or bottle opener.
