Ikebana originated in Japan centuries ago. I love the simplicity of it. The designs of my dishes are reduced to the simplest forms, so enhancing the minimal traditions of Ikebana.

Stunning Black Size 2 off centre Ikebana Dishe. 33cms long. 2" pin holder fixed. This dish is unglazed, and has a red highline running along the length of the dish. Very Japanese. It has been fired to 1280 degs C which Vitrifies the clay making it waterproof. To maintain the surface of this dish simply polish with Black Shoe Polish !! You don`t have to be into Ikebana to enjoy using my dishes. Its a very simple and minimal way of having stunning arrangements at home. No need to buy expensive bunches of flowers, all florists sell single stems so you can choose just one or two, and add some cane,twigs, ivy etc etc. as accessories. Each dish comes with a simple guide to help you get going. Its really easy, almost flower arranging for those who can`t arrange flowers !
