This pendant has been made in my home workshop using traditional casting techniques.
Using an actual Jurassic Ammonite fossil specimen, found on a beach walk in Dorset, the form was pressed into delft clay before removing to create a replica mould, this was then cast in solid sterling silver. This method of casting really preserves all the details of the original perfectly.
I have added a large tubular bail on the top of the pendant and an 18 inch cardano link chain has been threaded through. It measures 17x11mm approx. including the bail.
The chain is tamped 925 for sterling silver. This could be removed and another sturdy chain could be used to suspend the pendant. Please ask for details and prices. Alternatively, a leather cord could be supplied to your desired length - please just ask.
The pendant and chain weigh 5.8g, so are a substantial silver weight. Hall Marked at the London Assay Office, the pendant also bears my unique makers mark.
