Upcycled VHS shelf unit in burgundy. Fabric covered board backing. Silver feet, with optional extra legs (at no additional cost). Gold edging. Would be ideal as a nightstand or craft storage unit (among other things).

I found this little VHS shelf unit on Freecycle, looking very sad. This happens a lot. I had originally planned to just paint it - burgundy Annie Sloan paint - but it kind of evolved. This happens a lot, too. So I added a back to it - fabric covered board. The board was left over from a previous project and the fabric came from a friend who runs sewing classes. I remembered I had a set of legs from an item I had had to dismantle, so I added those. Then, just for a little something different, I added the gold edging before waxing the whole thing.
