Made in a special Black Clay. Unglazed you maintain the surface with black shoe polish (Kiwi). All my dishes are individually made. The one you receive may not be the one pictured.

Stunning Black Size 1 off centre Ikebana Dishes. 24cms long.1.75" pin holder fixed. This dish is unglazed, and has a red highline running across the width. Very Japanese. It has been fired to 1280 degs C which Vitrifies the clay making it waterproof. To maintain the surface of this dish simply polish with Black Shoe Polish !! You don`t have to be into Ikebana to enjoy using my dishes. Its a very simple and minimal way of having stunning arrangements at home. No need to buy expensive bunches of flowers, all florists sell single stems so you can choose just one or two, and add some cane,twigs, ivy etc etc. as accessories. Each dish comes with a simple guide to help you get going. Its really easy, almost flower arranging for those who can`t arrange flowers !
