My interest in the proggy technique started with a rag rug made from kilt off cuts. Tartan wreaths seemed like a good idea and the progression into clan tartans is a natural next step. So many people around the world have a Scottish connection so I'm hoping to have the opportunity to work in lots of different tartans.

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Looking for something special, made just for you? These lovely, handmade wreathes are made to order in your own choice of Scottish clan tartan. The wreath pictured is made from a mixture of several tartans and this can also be made to order. Each clan tartan wreath is handmade using the traditional proggy rug making technique which gives it a sturdy construction and a good pile. The tartan fabric is light to medium weight wool, woven in Scotland. Some tartans may also be available in Harris Tweed. The back of your wreath will be lined in velvet with a velvet ribbon hanging loop.
These wreaths make unusual and stylish gifts for anyone with a Scottish connection, Scottish style decor or who just likes tartan! They look lovely hanging on a wall or door and just as good sitting on your mantelpiece or dresser.
Size: frame 10inches/25cm with fabric extending a little beyond this.

The cost of the finished wreath depends on the tartan you request and I will confirm the price with you before putting up the listing. Generally, the cost is £40 - £50 Shipping can be either standard, which is the shipping price given, or tracked and signed for at an additional cost.
