Full description
A massive hoard of Anglo Saxon treasures was found in Staffordshire England. The hoard is wonderful and it has inspired me to make this piece.
The Hoard has pieces in it that use wire work swirls as decoration on a precious metal plate. This piece was made using sterling silver sheet which was hand forged to create a scrolled effect. I then created a number of wire work swirls from sterling silver wire and soldered these onto the back plate.
The final pendant is hung upon a sterling silver snake chain.
An extremely elegant and stately necklace, which is wonderful on.
Length of chain = 18 inches
Pendent length = 2 inches
