I really love this book series, although mostly everyone I like in it dies -.-

But it's still an amazing series and when I found the Mockingjay pendant, I really wanted to make something lovely. It was a nice change of pace too since I don't work with anything but silver really - and I don't really do this sort of style. Perhaps for a reason, it was horribly fiddly.

I'm rather pleased with the results however, I think it really captures the feel of the novels.

I love the imagery in this series. This bracelet was mainly inspired by Katniss's description of the dress she wears for her first interview. All covered in gems - just my sort of thing! I was so deeply disappointed with the first films take on it - not nearly sparkly enough
